Quote a job
Price a job before you do it, then turn the "yes" into an invoice.
A written quote does two jobs: it wins the work (a fast, tidy quote often beats a cheaper one that arrives three days later) and it sets the price in writing — so when the invoice lands there’s nothing to argue about. And because the accepted quote becomes the invoice, you never type the job twice.
- On Home, tap the mic and speak the job, then choose Save as a quote.
- Share the quote PDF. It’s valid for 30 days and expires on its own after that.
- When the customer says yes: open the quote → Accept → it becomes a draft invoice with the same lines. Send it (see Send an invoice).
Quoting from the driveway, before you’ve left, is the habit that pays: the job is fresh, the customer is engaged, and you’re first in their inbox.
