Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 July 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Speakpaid ("we", "us") for your use of the Speakpaid app. Speakpaid is operated by Satoshi Yamane, a sole trader trading as "Speakpaid". By using the app you accept these terms.

In short: Speakpaid is a tool to help you invoice and get paid. You're responsible for the accuracy of your invoices and your own tax obligations. Card/bank card payments are handled by Stripe. You can cancel anytime.

1. What Speakpaid is

Speakpaid helps you create, send and track invoices and quotes, and take payment. It is not accountancy, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything on your invoices and for meeting your own tax, VAT and regulatory obligations.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in and business details accurate, and keep your account secure. You're responsible for activity under your account.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Speakpaid for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to invoice for prohibited goods or services, and don't abuse, disrupt or attempt to break the service.

4. Payments & fees

Customer card payments are processed by Stripe under their own terms; their processing fees apply and money is paid into your own connected account. Any Speakpaid Pro subscription is billed through the Apple App Store — pricing, renewal and cancellation follow the App Store's rules, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple subscription settings. If you let Pro lapse you keep read-only access to your data.

5. Your content

Your invoicing data is yours. You grant us the limited licence we need to run the service for you — storing and processing your data and generating your PDFs. See our Privacy Policy.

6. Availability

We work hard to keep Speakpaid running, but it's provided "as is" and we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under law, including your rights under UK consumer law.

8. Termination

You can stop using Speakpaid and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these terms and will note the date above. Questions: support@speakpaid.com.
